Flynn Downes

Flynn Downes (born 20 January 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for EFL Championship club Southampton.
He made his debut on 5 August 2017, coming on a substitute against Birmingham City. Flynn became a schoolboy player with Town during the 2012-13 season, and he became a full academy player with Town in July 2015, signing a two-year scholarship, before he was offered another one-year deal for the 2016-17 season.
After impressing during pre-season, he signed a new three-year deal with the club , which runs to the summer of 2020,

On July 16, 2024 he joined Southampton on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
